Founded in 2000, OSHEAN is a nonprofit coalition of universities, hospitals, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations dedicated to providing innovative Internet-based technology solutions for its members and the community. We count some of southeastern New England’s most respected institutions among our members, and – while the organization was established to maximize the opportunities of the Internet – the real value of OSHEAN lies in its collegial exchange of ideas and its track record of creative problem-solving around issues confronting its members and society at large. Each spring, OSHEAN convenes a diverse group of thinkers and practitioners for a community forum designed to explore a key aspect of the contemporary technology landscape.
